Advanced technologies for growing table grapes, preparing plantations for wintering
The House of Culture in Costești, Ialoveni hosted on November 26, 2025 the seminar “Advanced technologies for growing table grapes, preparing plantations for wintering” conducted by APESM in partnership with UNDP Moldova through the project “AdTrade – Developing export capacities on the banks of the Dniester” implemented with the financial support of Great Britain and Sweden.
At the opening of the event, Eudochim Ungureanu, the executive director of APESM, addressed a greeting message to the participants and presented the program of the training event that brought together members of the Golden Grapes Logistics cluster and other grape producers in the country.
Mr. Valeriu Cebotari, APESM trainer and viticulture expert, described the autumn works in the vineyards related to their preparation for wintering, followed by Mr. Vlad Vedrașco, founder of the “Ved-Mar Agro” cooperative and the Frudova trademark, APESM trainer, who presented the export retrospective for 2025, competition on foreign markets and innovative solutions in the cultivation of table grapes.
After the coffee break, the event continued with a study visit to the Packing House of the “Fructbioimpex” cooperative guided by Mr. Victor Mereacre, the head of the enterprise, who demonstrated to the public aspects of the operation of the grape sorting and packaging line and the equipment for the production of wooden crates. The participants asked questions about the marketing of grapes, the repair of the equipment provided and exchanged experiences regarding the cultivation of grapes of various varieties
