High-performance technologies for growing table grapes, phytotechnical operations in dryland.
On February 5, 2026, in the House of Culture in Rusestii Noi, Ialoveni, the association held the seminar “Advanced technologies for growing table grapes, phytotechnical operations in the dry” intended for members of the Golden Grapes Logistic cluster and grape producers from across the country.
The training event is part of the assistance provided by UNDP, Sweden and the United Kingdom, within the project “Development of export capacities on the banks of the Dniester” (AdTrade), aimed at consolidating and developing the cluster.
The seminar was opened by Eudochim Ungureanu, APESM executive director, who addressed a greeting message to the training participants. Subsequently, the president of the association, Mr. Gheorghe Gaberi, presented a retrospective of the 2025 season for the table grape sector, an analysis of exports, successes achieved and difficulties encountered by enterprises, and proposed the association’s objectives for the new agricultural season.
The training program was continued by Mr. Valeriu Cebotari, APESM trainer and viticulture expert, who reported on the current state of grape plantations and the methods of cutting vine stumps adapted to the conditions of 2026. This was followed by the presentation of the portfolio of phytosanitary products by Mr. Alexandru Neamțu, representative of the Corteva Agriscience company, in a discussion about pests that can affect vines.
The training event ended with a study visit to the Agriftrans SRL refrigerator and vineyard, during which Mr. Valeriu Cebotari demonstrated practical aspects of dry cutting in the grape plantation and answered the participants’ questions.
